From the Doctor
Saint Patrick’s day is one of my favorite holidays because it means two things: winter’s thaw is here and it’s time to celebrate a culture that loves family, laughing and festivities. Our time in Ireland (2006 to 2009) was one of the biggest blessings of my life. I learned how to be a great chiropractor (still learning:)), how to live in another culture, and immerse myself in it. The Irish value many great things… traveling, family, health, and humor. Their sense of sarcasm and ability to tell stories and jokes with the perfect timing gives them endless charm. They are also amazing hosts; when you are invited to a gathering at an Irish house, the attention to detail and endless generosity leaves you feeling so well taken care of, it becomes difficult to leave.
These were some of the most important gifts I was given with our time in Ireland:
1. Be an amazing host
2. Family is first… Always
3. One can be sarcastic and optimistic at the same time
4. Living next to the sea is amazing
5. Your health is your wealth

Medical Daily states that, ‘Upwards of 75% of Americans are dehydrated and are functioning in a chronic state of dehydration”.
Staying hydrated will make you skin brighter, give you an energy boost, and improve body function. A lack of hydration means that all the toxicity your body accumulates won’t filter out the way it should.
So the next time you go to grab a juice or a soda, drink a glass of water first. That will quench your thirst, curb the cravings and hydrate you!
