Improving Soft Tissues

Madison Massage Therapist Madison Chiropractor

In this month’s podcast we continue our theme to support, improve, and strengthen soft tissues. Madison Chiropractor Dr Matt Kingston interviews Madison massage therapist, Will Hayes from Spirit Seed Wellness and Isthmus Wellness.

Will Hayes is a master soft tissue healer.  He is a massage therapist and neurovascular expert, and he has the soft, confident, and knowledgeable touch that few massage therapists possess.  Soft tissues (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) are the key to movement and to the reduction of stiffness and soreness.

Massage is proven to stimulate the soft tissues to improve blood flow and reduce muscle tension and pain.  Chiropractic adjustments have been proven to restore range of motion, reduce pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve posture.  Chiropractic adjustments and massage overlap beautifully, and they can be used together to improve stiffness, poor posture, poor movement, and to reduce pain.

Headaches, migraines, neck pain, lower back pain, shoulder pain, and knee pain are specialties that we have worked on together, and with adjustments and massage, you’ll be feeling better very soon.

In the podcast Will shares a deep breathing tip to help the listeners improve the oxygen in their blood, which helps the soft tissues relax and rest.
